Three-body bound states of two bosons and one impurity in one dimension

چکیده

We investigate one-dimensional three-body systems composed of two identical bosons and one imbalanced atom (impurity) with two-body zero-range interactions. For the case in absence interaction, we give a complete phase diagram number bound states whole region mass ratio via direct calculation Skornyakov-Ter-Martirosyan equations. demonstrate that other low-lying emerge when impurity particle is not equal to another particles. can obtain only binding energies but also corresponding wave functions. When vary large, there are at most three states. then study effect interaction unveil it induces more state certain coupling strength under fixed ratio.

Three-Body Dynamics in One Dimension

We discuss the general three-particle quantum scattering problem, for motion restricted to the full line. Specifically, we formulate the three-body problem in one dimension in terms of the (Faddeev-type) integral equation approach. As a first application, we develop a spinless, one-dimensional (1-D) model that mimics three-nucleon dynamics in one dimension. In addition, we investigate the effec...

Trapped interacting two-component bosons in one dimension

Abstract. In this paper we solve one dimensional trapped SU(2) bosons with repulsive δ-function interaction by means of Bethe-ansatz method. The features of ground state and low-lying excited states are studied by numerical and analytic methods. We show that the ground state is an isospin “ferromagnetic” state which differs from spin-1/2 fermions system. There exist three quasi-particles in the...

Bound states in the one-dimensional two-particle Hubbard model with an impurity

We investigate bound states in the one-dimensional two-particle Bose-Hubbard model with an attractive (V > 0) impurity potential. This is a one-dimensional, discrete analogy of the hydrogen negative ion (H−) problem. There are several different types of bound states in this system, each of which appears in a specific region. For given V , there exists a (positive) critical value Uc1 of U (the o...

One-dimensional bosons in three-dimensional traps.

Recent experimental and theoretical work has indicated conditions in which a trapped, low density Bose gas ought to behave like the 1D delta-function Bose gas solved by Lieb and Liniger. Up until now, the theoretical arguments have been based on variational/perturbative ideas or numerical investigations. There are four parameters: density, transverse and longitudinal dimensions, and scattering ...

Simulations of transport in one dimension

Advection-dispersion equation is solved in numerically by using combinations of differential quadrature method (DQM) and various time integration techniques covering some explicit or implicit single and multi step methods. Two different initial boundary value problems modeling conservative and nonconservative transports of some substance represented by initial data are chosen as test problems. ...
